ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor efficiency and utilization of labor, materials, storage space and machinery.
- Coordinate with 102 Browne Street regarding workflow and sharing of materials.
- Complete daily, monthly, and annual reports regarding inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Responsible for efficiently organizing raw materials and finished goods so that materials or products are not damaged or misplaced.
- Track data for annual recycling contract and share with appropriate parties, internally and externally.
- Act as our liaison between our recycling material provider companies, material buyers, and our freight associates to coordinate activities to ensure a smooth transition between our business partners.
- Coordinate all dock appointments.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to assure accuracy, completeness and stability of shipments and accompanying paperwork.
- Oversee and procure maintenance service for equipment. Communicate with Corning regarding Corning owned equipment.
- Maintain inventory controls on components used to process recyclables and reorder as needed.
- Generate paperwork for shipments (pallet tags, pallet spreadsheet, BoL) and distribute copies to the appropriate parties.
- Oversee all recycling center staff; provide on the job training, hold staff meetings, maintain, and approve employee timecards and maintain all staff records.
- Review monthly numbers and budget reports, discuss any concerns as needed. Develop and implement an action plan if budget numbers are negative.
- May be required to make deliveries or pick up materials using Agency vehicles.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- Participate in all required trainings and meetings.
- Retain proficiency in using equipment and software. Equipment includes: regrind machine, pallet jack, forklifts, stretch wrapping machine, weight scale, tipper, baler, sorter and any other production/warehousing equipment that is assigned.
- Required to work some night and weekend hours to meet customer needs.
- Follow Agency safety rules and adheres to OSHA guidelines for safety.
- Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies.
- Regulate and enforce all recycling center rules and policies.

- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe production and warehouse area (inside and outside).
- Complete other special assignments and projects as assigned.
- This position requires a three week notice for voluntary resignation of employment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Approximately 15 Recycling Center Workers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma is required, college degree in business strongly preferred. A minimum of 3-4 years' experience working in a shipping/receiving warehouse is required with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in inventory management and/or logistics preferred. Experience with plastic recycling preferred. Or a combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the agency meets the requirements of this position.
- Computer Skills: Must be able to use an electronic system to punch in and out each day, use of other Agency assigned software such as Office 365.
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess a valid NYS driver's license. Forklift certification required (Agency will train if necessary). Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification.

The rate of pay for this position is $46,800 annually, based on $22.50/hour.
