ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures vocational programs adhere to the regulations prescribed by OPWDD and the Arc Otsego's policies, mission, values, as well as regulations prescribed by OPWDD.
- Ensures services meet or exceed regulatory compliance. Conducts internal quality assurance audits, completes quality assurance activities with community business partners and reviews satisfaction surveys for supported employees.
- Reviews OPWDD monthly reports completed by staff for quality and checks to make sure that all reports are completed per OPWDD regulations.
- Reviews service documentation, identifies corrections needed, and ensures corrections were completed for weekly billable services.
- Reviews and approves vocational ISP programs, Staff Action Plans, and IPOP's in Therap to ensure that they are in compliance with Waiver and state regulations, serves as a backup for departmental plan writers.
- Monitors all vocational staff's training requirements. Communicates with staff regarding trainings needed and informs Director of Employment Services of compliance concerns.
- Participates in interviews, staff evaluations, staff discipline, addresses staff and program participant concerns.
- Monitors staff timesheets, approves timesheets, reviews and approves staff time off requests- coordinating for their absence.
- Schedules WIOA required ACCES-VR meetings and tracks attendance to ensure completion per regulations.
- Reviews and updates employment databases, program rosters, staff caseload assignments, billing, monthly summaries, tracking of unit utilization, pay stub data.
- Monitors and updates Developmental Disabilities Profile (DDP) in the OPWDD Choices system, ensuring that all DDP's are current and up to date.
- Maintains trackers and databases (life plans, Staff Action Plans, paystubs, etc.) ensures that all reviews are scheduled within required time limits.
- Monitors and updates Developmental Disabilities Profile (DDP2) in the OPWDD Choices system, ensuring that all DDP's are current and up to date.
- Monitors LCED 's procurement by plan writer/vocational counselors from Care Managers and support in obtaining documents when needed.
- Completes and reviews GER's in Therap, reviews all T-logs, completes Minor Event log for employment programs. Enter T-Logs as needed for communication purposes.
- Conducts internal quality assurance audits, completes quality assurance activities with employers and community partners and submits report to the Director of Employment and Community Services.
- Assists with completing Plans of Corrective Action for any issues addressed in an audit.
- Completes job coaching/ transition visits as needed in the absence of employment staff, during a new job start, or when someone needs increased hours.
- Provides vocational supports as needed, including site based and community based prevoc
- May provide transportation to program in the absence of available drivers
- Completes QA visits at job sites to check in with program recipients and businesses to ensure satisfaction.
- Track and review annual prevocational assessments.
- Oversees and leads Creekside's self-advocacy group.
- Attend OPWDD and ACCES VR training courses to maintain annual training requirements.
- Provides documentation in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
- Develops tools and resources to improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
- Assist with transportation runs and scheduling as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- This position requires a three-week notice of resignation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises three staff who write plans in the Employment Services Division.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a human services field, business marketing or other related field. One year experience in the delivery of services to people with developmental disabilities under the guidance of OPWDD preferred. Experience in marketing, sales, or quality assurance is preferred.

The rate of pay for this position starts at a salary of $22.00 per hour or more depending on experience.
