Re-Use Center Associate

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

1. Receive and inspect incoming shipments and donations, following proper procedures.

2. Assist in loading and unloading donations and stock

3. Sort, organize, and stock merchandise in designated areas.

4. Assist drivers with loading/unloading goods and securing items for transport.

5. Navigate delivery routes and interact with customers for signatures and inquiries.

6. Provide excellent customer and donor service, answering questions and assisting with loading purchases.

7. Maintain clean, safe, and organized retail and donation intake areas.

8. Follow all safety protocols, use proper PPE, and report unsafe conditions.

9. Support diversity and inclusion in all interactions with staff, volunteers, and customers.

10. Maintain delivery vehicle in a clean and organized state.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Education
: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers and warehouse staff
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs.), perform physically demanding tasks of moving inventory and work in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, chemicals).
- Basic computer skills for timekeeping and reporting.
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety regulations during loading and delivery process.
- Flexibility and willingness to working various areas of the center.
Licenses
: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The rate of pay for this position is an annual salary of $33,280 based on $16/ hour.
